Pitchin' for PAC Cornhole Tournament

Join us for the 2nd Annual Pitchin’ for PAC Cornhole Tournament on Thursday, August 26th. Are you bad to the board? Do you have what it takes to send some bags flying? If you have a partner you wish to team up with, please send me your team name or you will be assigned a partner randomly.

All proceeds go to the WV Agents PAC. The 2020 Elections are behind us, but we need to lead the way and prepare for the future today! We need strong and effective voices on Capitol Hill and in Charleston who understand our industry and the affect harmful legislation has, not only on the independent agency system but also on our customers. In order to support candidates who support our industry, we must have strong Federal and State PACs. This portion of the retreat is an additional registration fee.

Brews and Barbeque dinner will be served during this portion of the event. If you are not a cornhole fanatic, contribute to the WV Agents PAC with door prize raffles and drink tickets.

Cornhole Tournament will be brought to you by Scoreholio. Scoreholio is an easy, digital platform that makes it easy to run this awesome tournament. Pick your teammate, create your team name, and bring your A-game.

The Independent Insurance Agents of WV (IIAWV) is closely monitoring the COVID-19 Delta Variant that has caused an uptick in cases around the country.  Below are some steps IIAWV is taking to have a safe and enjoyable experience at association-hosted events.

While Governor Jim Justice has not mandated mask-wearing at this time, we are closely monitoring the situation.  According to today's press conference, the number of positive cases in West Virginia are now over 10,000 and many of those are fully vaccinated individuals.

Masks: All are welcome to wear masks. We will have masks at registration for those that wish to wear them as well. Also, hand sanitizer will be provided.

Social Distancing: We will practice social distancing as much as these events will allow and we are working with the properties where the events will be held to keep attendees as safe as possible.

Any COVID-like Symptoms: If you have ANY COVID-like symptoms, please refrain from attending any in-person events hosted by the Association. If you are present at the meeting and begin to feel ill for any reason, please advise and seek medical attention.

All of us are eager to return to normal. We hope that these steps will assist with keeping everyone safe and healthy. We strongly encourage vaccinations for anyone who has not yet done so.

If you have any questions, please seek immediate attention from CEO Traci Nelson or Programs Coordinator Sarah Estep-Martinez.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
